Transformers G1 - Fan Art - Turbomaster - Hyperdrive (1992)

Basically Hyperdrive is a Autobot supreme commander of his sub-group called the "Turbomasters" and they had special toy gimmicks with their weapons becoming both turbine engines for their vehicle modes or hand-held weapons that fire spring loaded projectile missiles that were and still are very powerful! Also they had light-piping or translucent plastic on some of their parts which stand out very nicely when shining light through them!
I really love the design of Turbomaster, Hyperdrive and the interesting but sadly short information about him.
I've drawn a slight redesign of Hyperdrive and made my own custom colour scheme for him.
What I imagine is his double turbine engine cannons that mount on the front top of his truck-trailer and made them compatible to his robot mode where they can attach on to his back or use them as hand held weapons as well, just like the Turbomaster, Rotorstorm.

If i recall the only time we saw hyperdrive in color was in some Japanese boxart. Strangly enough he was all green
